What is it about feathers that I love so?
Is it the inherent desire they create in me to take flight? My overall love of birds? Their shape? Their structure? Their variegation?
I dunno. They just make me happy.
Cool.

Say it before you run out of time. Say it before it’s too late. Say what you’re feeling. Waiting is a mistake.

I did. It fell on deaf ears. So much for that idea.

Sometimes…

Sometimes, cutting people out of your life is precisely and completely the right thing to do. Painful as it may be.

The trick is to recognize it for what it is; nothing more, nothing less. Then let go of any “story” or “reasons” for the action, which is where all the drama & chaos takes place. I’m not interested in drama any more. Not even a little. Just peace. And freedom. And self-expression. The end.

And btw, the same goes for people who have needed or wanted to cut ME out of THEIR lives. Today, I’m choosing to stay out of the drama of those actions too. Easier on my heart. Easier to move on from the damage and/or fall out. And in the end, who am I to say that they were “wrong” to do so? Maybe, it’s the very thing that needed to happen to make us all a little more peaceful, a little more free, a little more self-expressed.

That’s what having integrity is all about, isn’t it?

At least it is from my perspective. But what the heck do I know?

Nada apparently.

That’s all. Carry on.

… but there is genius in their hatred
there is enough genius in their hatred to kill you
to kill anybody
not wanting solitude
not understanding solitude
they will attempt to destroy anything
that differs from their own
not being able to create art
they will not understand art
they will consider their failure as creators
only as a failure of the world
not being able to love fully
they will believe your love incomplete
and then they will hate you
and their hatred will be perfect

like a shining diamond
like a knife
like a mountain
like a tiger
like hemlock

their finest art
